What's New in HOLOPHONIX 2.4.0 ?
ADM-OSC & Control Zones
HOLOPHONIX 2.4.0 adds support for ADM-OSC, the emerging industry standard for spatial audio control. You can now connect HOLOPHONIX directly to compatible consoles and systems — SSL, DiGiCo, Lawo and others — using a shared spatial audio language.
This updates comes with a reworked set of Control Zones which allow to create zones for sources to move in selected areas of the 3D space. This allows to assign different source types to different zones.
Individual Bus Origins
Each bus now has its own movable reference point in 3D space. Move a bus origin and all its linked speakers automatically reposition around it, preserving their relative layout.
Speakers can also be configured to automatically orient toward a bus reference point, which is particularly useful for WFS rendering.
Simplified Bus Routing
Binaural, Transaural, Stereo and Monitoring buses now connect directly to physical outputs. There is no longer any need to create speaker entities and wire them to the busses.
This simplifies the setup of headphone monitoring and stereo buses significantly. Projects created in earlier versions are migrated automatically when opened.
EQ for Direct, Early & Cluster Reverb
Each source now has independent EQs for their direct and early signal. Buses' reverb can also have their cluster EQ tuned independently, giving you much finer control over how each component of the spatial signal sounds.
Each EQ band can be bypassed, copied, pasted and reset independently. The EQ interface also gains a frequency ruler, an adjustable gain range, and better readability.
